VCDM 491- Internship and Apprenticeship in Art and Visual Communication Week 1

This week marks my fourth week of my internship at the World Wildlife Fund. I say it is my fourth week because the internship started before this class had begun. So I have already been working in this Internship fora bit. 

In that time I have done quite a lot. I have attended several company meetings, been introduced to some of the workers there, and have been working on some assigned projects. I mainly have been working with their Multimedia team with the company's podcast, "Nature Breaking" which talks about topics such as climate change and animal preservation. 

My last assignment was doing research and writing questions to ask for an interview that was happening last week for the podcast. My supervisor was interviewing the team of a seaweed farming documentary short film with the guest being the seaweed farmer who was the focus of the documentary and the director of the documentary. 


 Currently I am working on editing a video for a podcast episode that they will release next month.

This week marks my eighth week of my internship at the World Wildlife Fund. I say it is my seventh week because the internship started before this class had begun. So I have already been working in this Internship for a bit.  This week I finished revising social media clips for the release of WWF's upcoming "Nature Breaking" podcast on Asian elephants. They will post the clips on their various WWF's social media pages to advertise the video version of the episode. I think the episode will release next week so I will post a link to it when it is released. This makes this my third project completed that was given to me by my main supervisor to complete while they are still out traveling for the next two weeks until they return on August 15th.   I still am working on their Pakistan video that will be released later this month. VCDM 491- Internship and Apprenticeship in Art and Visual Communication Week 2-3

This week marks my fifth week of my internship at the World Wildlife Fund. I say it is my fifth week because the internship started before this class had begun. So I have already been working in this Internship for a bit.  This week I finished editing a video interview for WWF's "Nature Breaking" podcast that they will post on YouTube around August. I had to a remove a lot of unnecessary words or repeated words suing Descript to make the conversation look and sound smoother. My supervisor thought I did a really good job with editing the video and he's going to do one more edit on it himself to see if there's anything else that needs to be altered before they go forward with finishing and finalizing it.
